Cylindrical KS PERMAGLIDE® Bushes PAP

Main function:

  • Absorbing and transferring radical forces
  • Fixing moving components to each other
  • Ensuring guidance accuracy with radial and axial movements over the entire service life 

KS PERMAGLIDE® Cylindrical bushes PAP are available in two material groups

  • Material group P1 for maintenance-free, dry-running applications
  • Material group P2 for low-maintenance, lubricated applications

Basic advantages of cylindrical bushes from the P1 or P2 group:

  • low installation space requirements
  • extremely easy assembly
  • low friction value
  • good chemical resistance

When is it best to use P1 bushes?

  • if lubrication (oil, grease) is not possible or not permitted
  • for operating temperatures between -200°C and 280°C
  • for low to medium sliding speeds, depending on the type of material max. 0.8m/s to max. 2m/s
  • if standard bearing clearance is sufficient for the application

When is it best to use P2 bushes?

  • where lubrication (oil, grease) is used
  • where higher sliding speeds (up to 3.3m/s) are required
  • for increased impact load or edge loading
  • where a lower bearing clearance is required (not P20 and P200)

Note:

Please comply with the temperature range of -40°C to 110°C.

KS PERMAGLIDE® Flange liners PAF

Main function:

  •  Absorbing and transferring radical forces and axial forces coming
     from one direction
  •  Fixing moving components to each other
  •  Ensuring guidance accuracy with radial and axial movements and
     absorbing axial deviations with radical movements over the
     entire service life 

KS PERMAGLIDE® Flange liners PAF are only available in the maintenance-free P1 material group

Basic advantages of P1 flange liners: 

  • low installation space requirements
  • extremely easy assembly
  • low friction value
  • good chemical resistance

When is it best to use P1 flange liners? 

  • if lubrication (oil, grease) is not possible or not permitted
  • for operating temperatures between -200°C and 280°C
  • for low to medium sliding speeds, depending on the type of material max. 0.8m/s to max. 2m/s
  • if standard bearing clearance is sufficient for the application
  • for low to medium axial loads

Note:

High axial loads could limit the service life due to a reduction in the bearing surfaces on the flange.

KS PERMAGLIDE® Strips, Slide paths PAS

KS PERMAGLIDE® Strips PAS are available as an even material section. This material section can be used to make sliding elements in a variety
of shapes.

If these material sections are used to create slide paths, they have the following main functions:

  • Absorbing and transferring forces acting vertically to the running surface
  • Fixing moving components to each other
  • Ensuring guidance accuracy for axial movements over the entire service life

KS PERMAGLIDE® Strips are available in two material groups:

  • Material group P1 for maintenance-free, dry-running applications
  • Material group P2 for low-maintenance, lubricated applications

KS PERMAGLIDE® Thrust washers PAW

Main function:

  • Absorbing and transferring axial forces coming from one direction
  • Fixing moving components to each other
  • Ensuring axial guidance accuracy over the entire service life

KS PERMAGLIDE® Thrust washers PAW are available in two material groups:

  • Material group P1 for maintenance-free, dry-running applications
  • Material group P2 for low-maintenance, lubricated applications

Basic advantages of thrust washers from the P1 or P2 group:

  • low installation space requirements
  • extremely easy assembly
  • low friction value
  • good chemical resistance

When is it best to use P1 thrust washers?

  • if lubrication (oil, grease) is not possible or not permitted
  • for operating temperatures between -200°C and 280°C
  • or low to medium sliding speeds, depending on the type of material max. 0.8m/s to max. 2m/s
  • if high axial loads occur. In contrast to flange liners, thrust washers have practically 100% bearing
  • surfaces available and can therefore accept higher axial loads

When is it best to use P2 thrust washers 

  •  where lubrication (oil, grease) is used
  •  where higher sliding speeds (up to 3.3m/s) are required
  •  for increased impact load or edge loading
  •  where exact flatness is achieved through machining (not P20 and P202)

Note:

Please comply with the temperature range of -40°C to 110°C. Thrust washers should be secured where required. This can be achieved via pinning, screwing, sticking or other construction measures.
